Terms of use

Last updated 27 August 2026

These are the terms you agree to by using ScreenFlowr. They are written to be read, so they are shorter than most. Using the product means you accept them.

What ScreenFlowr does

You send someone a link. They open it in a browser, record their screen, and the recording arrives in your account. You can also record your own screen. That is the whole product.

Your account

You need a real email address, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us through the help page if you think someone else is using it.

One person or organisation per account. Sharing one login around a team is not forbidden by any technical measure, but it is not what the price is set for.

What you may not do

  • Record anyone without their knowledge, or use a link to obtain a recording someone did not mean to give you.
  • Ask for recordings that capture passwords, card numbers, medical records or anything else a person should not be sending you in a video.
  • Upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to hold.
  • Attack the service, work around its limits, or resell access to it.

We can suspend or close an account that does any of this. If we do, we will say why.

The recordings are yours

You own what lands in your account. We store it, serve it back to you, and do nothing else with it. We do not use it for training, we do not sell it, and nobody here watches it. Our right to hold and transmit it exists only so the product can show it to you.

Paying

The free plan is free and stays free. The paid plan is $15 a month, billed by Stripe, and you can cancel from your settings at any time. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves you on the paid plan until the period you have paid for ends. We do not refund part of a month, and if something has genuinely gone wrong, ask through the help page and we will sort it out.

If the price changes, existing subscribers get notice by email before it applies to them.

Availability

We try to keep ScreenFlowr running and we do not promise it always will. There is no uptime guarantee on either plan. If it is down, it is down for us too, and we are already looking at it.

Liability

ScreenFlowr is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time from your settings, which deletes your recordings and stops every link you have sent. We can end an account for a breach of these terms. Either way, the deletion described in the privacy policy is what happens to the data.

Changes

We will update these terms occasionally. Material changes are announced by email to account holders before they take effect, and the date at the top always tells you which version you are reading.

Something here unclear? Ask us and a person will answer.
